Howdy Neighbors!! The HOA Board met this week and have planned our
fall functions. It is almost impossible to believe the summer has
passed and school resumes in 1 week!
Here are the reminders:
* This is last call for outstanding dues for 2008. Envelopes are
being delivered to those addresses that remain with a balance. There
is a 10 day grace period on this second notice. A lien in the amount
of $500 will be filed against the property at the Floyd County
Courthouse if the amount due is not paid in that 10 day window.
*Our next meeting is scheduled for SEPTEMBER 25 at 7pm in the park as
weather permits. So, bring a chair and meet some new neighbors --- or
the same old neighbors who remain the backbone of the HOA. If
raining, we will meet at the REMC Community Room as normal. Watch
your mail for formal notification & the island sign for details as
the date approaches.
*In response to the call for a Fall Yard Sale --- the date of
September 27th has been set. An ad in the New Albany Tribune will run
on Friday & Saturday announcing the sale. Signs for high traffic
areas are needed --- please call Beth at 949-2708 or e-mail if you
would volunteer to provide this service.
* Our Fall Chili Cook-Off & Pot luck pitch in is set for Saturday,
October 18th ----- watch your mail for more information as we are
still fine tuning the details. If you have any suggestions, please
forward them to any of the Board.
*Lastly --- Looking for 2 organized, friendly souls who are willing
to donate their time, talents & treasure to the offices of President &
Treasurer. Beth Adkins & Ann Bishop will be stepping down from these
positions at the year end. We have enjoyed serving our neighborhood
and will still remain involved ---just in smaller capacities.
Consider your schedules & give us a call with any questions.
We hope everyone has had a great summer and we look forward to seeing
you soon!
