Below is a copy of an email sent to me by Damon Smith. Please take a
look and write letters, make phone calls, and send email. Damon's
letter says it all, nothing for me to add, other than this is
ridiculous!

Thank you,

Robert Headrick

I dont know if anyone else is having problems with their sewer bills.
Our's was about twice what it should be. That got me looking and it
appears that the city of New Albany has changed the system and we will
no longer have adjustments for lawn/pool usage in the summer months. (I
did not know the city had any say)

(see the link)

Specifically section 5

I am pretty irritated since I had knowledge that they were intending a
change.

I have already fired off a letter to the city and thought a few more
people might want to complain, request a return to the previous system,
or demand that the Indiana American/New Albany pay for the meter if
needed. Does not seem right that they can charge for sewage that they
can't prove was used.

Here are the addresses that seem to be relevant

New Albany, IN 47150

Silver Creek Water Corporation
P.O. Box 102
