I spoke with Kelly at the sewer department.  She explained to me that
the summer watering program will continue to be in place after April 1,
2006.  However, it is only in place for the months of June, July,
August, and September.  The only difference between the new ordinance
and how things are now, are the remaining months of the year.  If water
is used for irrigation or pools, outside of the designated summer
months,  an adjustment will not be made. Currently, you can still have
the adjustment made, outside of the designated months, if you request
it. Under the new ordinance, the only way to avoid this is to either not
fill pools, or water the lawn, during the months which are not
designated as summer watering program months,or have a separate meter
installed at the homeowners expense.
