The Floyd County Commissioners are holding a special meeting tonight at
5:30 P.M.  The meeting will be held in the Commissioner's room, on the
second floor of the City County Building.  The required number of
citizens have signed the pettion, so the Commissioners are now going to
decide whether to act on the proposal.  It is in our best interest to
attend this meeting.  The Commissioner's have expressly stated that they
need to hear public comment before proceeding with action.  This is due
to the Township Trustee's proposal of a Couty wide district, which would
most certainly not be to our benefit.  Anyone whom is able to attend,
please do so.
